Loran's Gifts & Collectibles is a unique gift store located in Pickering's new waterfront community. The store opened in December 2004 under the name "Two Moms and A Granny" and is still known to many of our customers by that name. I changed the name in January 2007 to Loran's Gifts & Collectibles in keeping with the nautical theme of the area and also as more of a reflection of myself.
Everything sold in the store is carefully chosen and I like to be aware of where it is made and how it is made, so I can pass that information on to my customers. I do look for a Canadian connection where possible and buy Canadian where price allows.
I also look for the product that you don't see everywhere and take delight in hearing my customers express the same sentiment.
My main desire when I opened the store was to provide my customers with a unique shopping experience, one that focuses on service first and foremost, followed by offering unique product at a reasonable price, and a firm knowledge and familiarity with the product.
